Architecture
and Concept Definition
Mirus personnel possess extensive experience in the development and
deployment of major programs to diverse government agencies including
the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Defense, and
NASA. This includes development of System Design Documents (SDDs), System
Specification Documents (SSDs), Software Design Documents (SDDs), and
Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
Our capabilities include space-based
Blue Force Tracking/Situational Awareness (BFT)/SA and Civilian Search
and Rescue (CSAR) technologies that can be used anytime, anywhere in
the world to quickly identify and locate personnel, vehicles, aircraft
and ships, etc. These technologies serve personnel in distress or in
remote areas and can simultaneously tag and track Blue Force elements
at the troop level and above, and permit short-text messaging between
users.
Providing data communications and Geo-location
capability at any distance, we can address key deficiencies in the present
tactical space architecture. The capability is designed for highly mobile
users, such as Special Operations Forces (SOF), agency elements, and
other isolated personnel including combat survivors/evaders. The technology
can integrate individual users, teams, aircraft, ground vehicles and
vessels with each other and command and control infrastructures at all
levels.

specifications; and delivering exceptional solutions that satisfy our
customers' program requirements. Mirus’ one provider/one source
approach includes:
Program Management –
From inception, support in developing and establishing programs through:
performing operational concept phase technical support; providing analysis
of technical data; defining mapping requirements to the architecture;
providing design engineering; and performing engineering verification.
Acquisition Planning
– Development of the acquisition plan for government and international
customers.
Project Financial Planning and
Management – Development of financial plans and risk
analysis to include the full scope of the Program through operational
implementation.
Schedules –
Production of master schedules for the projects, including Proof of
Concept, testing, prototype development, and overall program laydown.
